The Cleveland Metroparks

The Cleveland Metroparks was established in 1917, with a mission to protect nature, connect communities, and inspire conservation of our world. The Cleveland Metroparks is planning to restore Forest Hill Park in East Cleveland, which is a large greenspace that provides much value to its community. The Cleveland Metroparks has planned a restoration of this park to take place in the upcoming years. Their goal is to make Forest Hill Park a safe space for people to experience nature and all of the amenities this park has to offer. The Cleveland Metroparks received a grant of $100,000 from The McGregor Foundation to support the restoration.

Forest Hill Park is a very important part of East Cleveland, and it is an asset to those in the community around it. It provides individuals, families, and seniors with a beautiful greenspace right in their neighborhood. The Cleveland Metroparks recognizes how this park, and greenery in general, promotes mental and physical health, so they want to ensure that the trails, bike paths, and other amenities will be clean and well kept. With Forest Hill Park being located directly across from McGregor, it gives our residents an opportunity to go outside and enjoy the nature of the park.

The Cleveland Metroparks priority is to provide safety and accessibility of the Forest Hill Park, so that those in the community can have a positive experience when visiting.
