Application Process

The 2026 Fall Grant Application period is open from December 15, 2025 to February 2, 2026.

Thank you for your interest in partnering with the McGregor Foundation.

Due to significant shifts in the funding and policy landscape, the McGregor Foundation has made the difficult but necessary decision to transition to an invitation-only application process. This change allows us to work with current and future grantee partners, focusing on our funding priorities during a time of rapidly changing community needs.

Existing grantees are eligible to apply in their applicable cycle. If you are a current grantee, please reach out to receive the access code.

If you believe your organization aligns closely with our mission, funding guidelines, and geographic scope, we welcome you to introduce yourself. Please send a brief email to [email protected] that includes the following:

  1. A short description of your organization, including your program offerings with seniors (ages 55+).
  2. How your work aligns with the funding priorities of the McGregor Foundation.
  3. The geographic areas in which you provide your senior-focused services.

While we are unable to guarantee an invitation to apply, and an invitation does not guarantee funding, we look forward to learning more about your work and appreciate your interest in partnering with us.

All grant applications must be submitted online. Before beginning your application, please review these steps.

STEP 1:  Check your eligibility. Your organization or your program must:

  • Be consistent with one of our focus areas (see our Grant Guidelines)
  • Be tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code
  • Providing services in Cuyahoga, Lorain, and/or Summit Counties
  • Have submitted an interim or final report on any previous grants before a new request can be considered

STEP 2: See what information you will need.

STEP 3:  Begin your online application. (for new and returning grant requests)

Step 4:  Complete and submit the online application. When you click submit you will receive an email confirmation that we have received your application. PLEASE NOTE:  Do not mail a duplicate hard copy of the application or any uploaded attachments.
